“One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”

Malala Yousafzai

I see every student as the protagonist in their own adventure of learning.

Teaching English Language Arts (ELA) and English as a Second Language (ESL) transcends textbooks and worksheets; it's a journey of intellect and heart. I strive to create a collaborative environment with my students where we become linguistic adventurers, exploring the endless possibilities and complexities of the English language.

My teaching techniques are flexible and scaffolded to meet the unique needs of each learner. As I provide the support my students need to master English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, we establish rapport and form genuine connections built on trust and mutual respect. I set clear, achievable goals, reframe setbacks as learning opportunities, and celebrate every step forward, regardless of how small it may seem.

Beyond the confines of curricula and grammar rules, ELA and ESL instill confidence in students to express their thoughts with clarity and conviction. Together, we build linguistic bridges that traverse gaps between cultures and continents and forge global connections.
